Client initial brief
Relocate the Smyths Toys shop in Sorgues to an adjacent unit and fully adapt this new space to reflect the brand’s distinctive style, identity and operating practices.
The aim was to create a bright, functional and instantly recognisable shop, whilst providing the spaces needed for the teams’ day-to-day work.
Challenges or constraints encountered
- Adapt an existing cell to meet Smyths Toys’ standards and specific requirements.
- Rethink the layout of the different spaces to accommodate the shop and ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
- Coordinate various trades whilst ensuring the relocation schedule is adhered to.
- To ensure the brand’s identity remains consistent despite the change of premises.
Solution proposed and implemented
Our work focused in particular on:
- plastering work to refurbish and adapt the spaces;
- painting work to ensure a high-quality finish and comply with the brand’s guidelines;
- the refurbishment of the façade of the new shop;
- the electrical work required for the shop to operate;
- the production of back-office furniture, designed to meet the teams’ day-to-day needs.
