Client initial brief
Support the owners in transforming their Muzette restaurant and delicatessen, located in the heart of the Halles Paul Bocuse in Lyon. The objective was to modernise both spaces while preserving the brand’s authentic identity, creating a warmer and more contemporary experience for their customers.
This project formed part of the extensive refurbishment programme at the Halles Paul Bocuse, making Muzette one of the first businesses to contribute to the renewal of this iconic Lyon gastronomic destination.
Challenges or constraints encountered
Intervenir au sein des Halles Paul Bocuse représentait un véritable défi. Les travaux devaient être réalisés dans un environnement occupé.
Working within the Halles Paul Bocuse presented a unique challenge. The fit-out works had to be carried out in a fully occupied environment.
Une préparation rigoureuse et une coordination permanente entre les différents intervenants ont permis de respecter ces contraintes tout en garantissant la qualité d’exécution attendue.
Solution proposed and implemented
Designed by architect David Beltramelli, the project was delivered by Groupe Pagès’ Fit-Out division.
The teams carried out the complete fit-out works to create two harmonious, functional spaces that faithfully reflect the Muzette brand.
Key elements of the project included:
- Complete fit-out of the delicatessen and restaurant areas
- Installation of decorative features and wall finishes
- Installation of wall coverings and finishing works
- Coordination of all trades throughout the project
Thanks to meticulous planning and seamless coordination between the teams, the project was completed in just four weeks, allowing Muzette to unveil its new interior while preserving what defines its identity: outstanding hospitality and quality cuisine.
