Babel Community

Building on several successful collaborations, The Babel Community once again chose Groupe Pagès to deliver the fit-out of its new location in Bordeaux.

The objective was to bring to life a large-scale hybrid, experience-driven space combining dining, social and service areas, while remaining true to the architectural concept and delivering the highest standards of craftsmanship, finishes and materials.

Beyond the technical scope of the project, this collaboration reflects a relationship of trust built over time, driven by a shared ambition to develop and sustain a long-term partnership.

This project involved several major challenges:

• A large-scale fit-out covering 9,500 m²
• A particularly tight schedule, with just three weeks for installation
• High expectations in terms of quality, craftsmanship and aesthetic finishes
• The integration of premium materials and bespoke finishes requiring precision and close coordination

As is often the case with projects of this scale, success depended on meticulous planning, seamless coordination between all stakeholders, and the ability to adapt quickly throughout the project.

For this project, Groupe Pagès leveraged its expertise in bespoke fit-out, paying particular attention to materials, finishes and the overall aesthetic consistency of the space.

Key features of the project included:

• Zellige wall cladding
• Bespoke bar with a brass countertop
• Installation of antique mirrors with brass inlays
• Manufacture and installation of bespoke banquette seating
• Bespoke back bar
• Integration of numerous oak features

Every detail was carefully crafted to enhance the warm, refined character of the space.
