Client initial brief
Support the opening of the Bottega della Riviera store at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport by creating an elegant retail space that reflects the brand’s identity and the spirit of the Italian Riviera.
The objective was to deliver a premium shopping experience through a bespoke fit-out that showcases delicatessen products and Mediterranean specialties, while meeting the demanding requirements of an airport environment.
Challenges or constraints encountered
Delivering a fit-out project within an international airport requires an exceptionally high level of planning and organisation.
Located within a customs-controlled restricted area, the store required strict access procedures, carefully planned logistics, and works carried out in line with the airport’s continuous operations.
The works had to be carried out without disrupting airport operations, within a highly secure environment where every intervention was subject to strict regulatory requirements.
Solution proposed and implemented
Delivered by Groupe Pagès’ Fit-Out division with the support of its Bespoke Furniture workshop, the project mobilised the teams over a two-month period to fit out the store’s 150 m².
Key elements of the project included:
- Complete fit-out of the retail space
- Manufacture and installation of bespoke furniture
- Creation of dedicated product display areas
- Installation of decorative features and finishing elements
- Coordination of all trades throughout the project
- Coordination of all works within the customs-controlled restricted area, in full compliance with the airport’s security procedures
